Nature endowed with fascinating forms, strengths and nuances inspires me to grasp as closely as its many pictorial and graphic expressions. Lichens are a chance encounter, a hyphen, between a fungus and one or two algae. Their different morphologys offer rich graphic and colorful textures of materials that make up paintings. This series captured my vegeto-sensitive eye during an Irish trip to Connemara following other discoveries Pyrenean, Lotoise, Ariège, Aveyronnaises, Alpines… These landscapes millimeter and intimate scenes invite to reverie and escape in Imaginary Lands revisited by Cristina Noacco who dedicate her haikus.
