“My work began with an academic practice of drawing to lead to a more or less abstract personal expression, with currently a search for material and thickness and the introduction of external elements. I consider it an exploration of elements and matter, a kind of language. I take a lot of fun and curiosity to use different materials that I recover in nature. Using, for example, newsprint as a medium, I find a way of writing by taking the traits, the characters, the calligraphy, playing with the whites and the Blacks, I add to the existing traits my own traces. Fingerprint test, trace, casting and even sometimes errors, mixture of white and black on an abandoned work then imprint in negative. »
